If you’re thinking or have thought there has been quite a bit of chatter about those little people in two’s, you are absolutely

right, considering that the Center for Disease Control (CDC) released statistics showing that not only have the birthrate of twins

been on an upward rise since 1989, but for the year of 2014, they were on a roll for total domination!

Well, not quite, but it was a pretty good year overall for twin births. The CDC credits different fertility treatments as a spike in the twin birthrate, which closed 2014 out with the peak of 33.9 per 1,000 births.

I guess the best things do come in two’s!

“I had really sharp pain in my left side and went into the doctor, and they said, ‘We think you might be pregnant,’” Shelby Mangani told the local NBC affiliate. “They told me I was six months and told me to get down to the ER. They did an ultrasound and told me it was twins.”
