You know, the thing about motherhood is that it comes with all kinds of perks…or, er quirks. A trip to the grocery store can

quickly turn into a real life episode of WWE, wrestling away everything from your toddler that is not on the grocery list. Oh

wait, perhaps, you’d be able to relate more to your kid falling asleep mid sentence during breakfast cereal.

Yikes! Did these little people come with a manual or what?!

It’s moments like this that fill our memory joy with laughter, and conversations about “how I got through those times,” but

these moments also make those girl nights a bit more enjoyable. It’s pretty awesome to get out and just be a girl for night, you

know. Going to places where people call you by a name other than mom. Those moments can be the greatest, yea?

Until you look over and realize that one of your girlfriends have had a bit to much to drink and they’re now propped up or face down snoozing at the bar.

That’s when it hits you:

There’s no difference in my drunk friend and my toddler.

With all that said, I want to share an article  with you I found over at the Huffington Post, where Meredith Mason, a brilliant blogger, form “That’s Inappropriate” layed out 30  things you can say to your drunk friend and your toddler.

Wait until you see number 17. check them out.

    • You can’t nap here. You need to go to your bed.

    • We don’t eat food from strangers.

    • We never touch our private parts in public.

    • We pee in toilets, not in the street.

    • Chew with your mouth closed.

    • Keep your fingers out of your nose.

    • I am not playing that song again. We have heard it 15 times. Put on your pants.

    • Don’t put that in your mouth.

    • It’s not nice to stare.

    • Yes, those are boobies, but we don’t touch those.
